John Bishop, English comedian, presenter and actor, is on tour for his "Winging It" tour of 2017. The tour was first announced in September 2016, and marks his fifth time embarking on a tour.

The tour was first slated to be only in October and November 2017, but it then expanded to run from September through December.

The demand for the tour led to several venues selling out. Bishop is making stops across the UK and Ireland before leaving to end his tour in Dubai in December at the World Trade Center. "Winging It" has been praised by media outlets across the world.
Daily Mirror calls Bishop Britain's top comic, while others claim the show is the funniest two hours you'll have.

Bishop's transition from medical representative to a full-time comedian occurred in 2006. He brings something "different" to the stage. He first performed in front of a crowd in 2000. His career then spiraled into an almost comical fairy tale.

He went on to be on So You Think You're Funny, where he made it to one of the final acts. He then went on the be named the best newcomer on BBC Radio Merseyside. His career continued to grow with appearances on the Michael McIntrye Comedy Roadshow, where he was the first act.

He would win the Best Male Comedy Breakthrough Artist at the British Comedy Awards in 2010.

Bishop has made appearances on television, too. He was a panelist for six episodes of The Panel. He has also been a presenter for several shows, including several of his own, such asJohn Bishop's: Christmas Show, Only Joking, Australia and In Conversation With.

He has been in three films with the most recent being Funny Cow, where he played the role of Colin Pile.

"Winging It" is sure to impress viewers. Bishop's first tour, "Elvis Has Left the Building," was dubbed "comedic genius" by many critics, and his acts have continued to get better over the years.

When he announced his tour, he stressed that it's been three years since his last tour, and that he was looking forward to being on the road. Bishop has stated in the past that standup is what he likes to do best, despite being on television often.

Bishop entered comedy late in life. He states that sometimes he feels that he is "winging it." The phrase is the perfect choice for his 35-date+ tour.
